Capital Equipment Initiatives and Upgrades: Implemented and commissioned a suite of specialized manufacturing, extraction, and automation systems—including Baker Perkins, VTA, Cascade, Huber, Apeks, and more—training cross-functional teams to operate safely and efficiently in cGMP-compliant environments.

Workflow & Layout: Multi-Zone Manufacturing Space: This demonstration of a foundational approach to workflow mapping shows that each area (extraction booth, kitchen prep, trimming) is clearly partitioned yet interconnected. This design was fine-tuned before occupancy to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials and personnel.
EQUIPMENT & ENGINEERING
We work directly with engineering teams to spearhead capital equipment installations, ensuring seamless execution across extraction, storage, QA/QC, and automation systems.
Bridging Engineering & Operations: Translating technical plans into construction-ready sketches, ensuring foremen and operators can efficiently implement complex systems.
Scalable System Integration: From racked distillation to cold-chain storage and packaging automation, we develop equipment strategies that enhance efficiency, compliance, and long-term adaptability.

Custom Fabrications & 1 MTB Cage: Developed specialized pump carts for transferring ultra low-temperature solvents at high flow rates, featuring a mobile hose-reel system and a straightforward MTB clamp solvent squeeze bottle attachment for transfer carts. The final image shows a solvent shaker for QA/QC lab cannabinoid testing extractions.

Multi-Department Manufacturing Facility Build Envelope Closure: Oversaw operational planning for a full-process build, from harvest to final product packaging areas. Advised on design adjustments to support a future process flexibility, layout feasibility, code compliance, and seamless departmental interactions.

Small Footprint Hydrocarbon Extraction Enclosure Installation: Directed the purchase, construction, and commissioning of a C1D1 hydrocarbon extraction booth, collaborating with contractors on electrical, HVAC, and fire safety tie-ins. Pre-planning and final sign-off were coordinated with local BFS regulators.

Small Footprint Dedicated Biomass Holding Area for Scaled Terpene Exports: Developed and implemented a secure, cGMP-compliant mesh holding enclosure to ensure regulatory segregation of incoming biomass designated for global terpene partners.
LAYOUTS & WALKTHROUGHS

Process Optimization: Developing floor tape-outs and spaghetti maps to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance team productivity.
Regulatory Readiness: Overseeing Process Hazard Analysis reports & walkthroughs to fast-track BFS approvals and prevent costly production delays.

Defining Production Cells with On-Floor Visual Cues: Pre-occupancy manufacturing area 5S taped to designate machine cells and accessory zones. It includes 120 fc lighting, 12-foot ceilings, FRP wall coverings, and flexible work zones with accessible cord reels.

Secondary Processing Progression: Preliminary design mapping of an unoccupied shell into a functional downstream suite. 4' AFF receptacles for safety and secondary processes. Dual cord reels positioned above the centrally-located work table to minimize motion waste from outside work zones.

Remediation Workflow Enhancements: Wall-mounted induction sealers to attain specific package volumes for optimal RF penetration across the remediation package. Engineered custom perforated shelving to enhance airflow around sealed bags, improving product integrity during the reacclimation period after remediation.

Fabricated Dual-bagging Station & Ergonomic Sorting Table with Single-bagging Station: Fabricated tandem bagger frames for more efficient, high-volume ostrich bagging, and developed a custom sorting table featuring an integrated single bagger with cowl.

Basic blueprint solution to split one chiller into two separate feed lines for dual rotary evaporators. Lagged stanchions to the floor and ran insulated copper tubing to ensure stable cooling and reduce capital costs.
